Customers with HSA or FSA accounts may be able to use their pre-tax dollars on eligible products, with no extra steps or paperwork. Just select Flex at checkout.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are tax-advantaged savings accounts that help you to pay for healthcare expenses.

All OOFOS products are HSA/FSA eligible, except for Gift Cards.

When you select “Pay with Flex” , you will be redirected from the OOFOS website to Flex’s secure platform to complete the HSA/FSA eligibility and payment process. Flex is an independent third-party service provider and is not owned, operated, or controlled by OOFOS. Your use of the Flex platform is subject to Flex’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. OOFOS is not responsible for Flex’s websites, services, data collection practices, or application of eligibility requirements. We encourage you to review Flex’s terms and privacy practices before proceeding.

One of the easiest ways to do this is select ‘Checkout as a guest’ at the bottom of the Shop Pay checkout screen or go through checkout in incognito mode.

If you don’t have your HSA or FSA card handy, still select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment method. Enter your credit card information and log in to the consumer portal at withflex.com/portal using the same email you used at checkout to download an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.

No, but our products require documentation from a licensed healthcare provider stating that the item is necessary to treat or manage a specific medical condition. This documentation is called a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN). If a product requires a LOMN, we will facilitate a chat-based consultation that generates the letter in real time during checkout.

No, unfortunately, this isn’t a supported feature right now. If there are insufficient funds in a single HSA or FSA account, you can instead enter a credit card on the Flex checkout page. You will receive an itemized receipt and/or Letter of Medical Necessity from Flex , which you can submit for reimbursement.

A Letter of Medical Necessity is a formal document from a licensed healthcare provider stating that a specific product or service is required to treat, manage, or prevent a medical condition. This documentation is often required by HSA/FSA administrators to approve the use of pre-tax funds for certain health and wellness items.

To access your Letter, log in to the consumer portal at withflex.com/portal using the same email you used at checkout to retrieve your letter. You should keep it on file for at least three years in the event of an IRS audit of your HSA or FSA account. Occasionally, FSAs may ask for the Letter to confirm the eligibility of your purchase.

We strongly recommend checking with your HSA/FSA provider to see if a purchase is eligible prior to completing the purchase. However, if you believe your claim has been wrongly denied, please send over any response from your HSA/FSA provider to us so we can share it with Flex and receive guidance on the next best steps to take. Please note that employer-sponsored FSAs can determine what products are eligible beyond the IRS’s guidelines, so it’s extremely important to check prior to purchase.

Yes. While the IRS sets general guidelines for FSA-eligible items, individual employers have the right to further restrict what their specific plan covers. We recommend checking with your employer’s HR department or your plan administrator to confirm:

Flex will email you an itemized receipt within two hours of your purchase.
